I have been given a great service from SoftKey. The free week trial is an excellent idea and the full-term license will prove very worthwhile; I will never have to carry the original hardlock around everywhere or worry about losing it, and it frees up my USB port! Added: July 2, 2008 |

I've had one, sometimes 2 hardware locks sticking out of the back of my laptop while working in field (sometimes wooded) conditions. It's easy to break or lose the locks under these conditions and what is even worse is that the desktop unit in the office is basically disabled without the hardware lock. If you break or lose the lock - you're screwed. It is either going to cost a lot of money or take a lot of time or both. Bill has a solution that works and I'm very grateful for the great service he has given me over the last five years. To me - utilizing his software solution is a no-brainer. Added: June 25, 2008 |
